Thematically organized chapters examine the origins and development of explosive hot spots-including Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, and Democratic Republic of Congo-in West Africa, Nigeria, Southern Africa, the Horn of Africa and Central Africa, and the Great Lakes region.
