James Chalmers is Regius Professor of Law at the University of Glasgow, having previously taught at the Universities of Aberdeen and Edinburgh. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and former editor of the Edinburgh Law Review.

Margaret Ross is Chair in Law at the University of Aberdeen. From 2011 to 2017 she was a University Vice Principal and Head of the College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Isla Callander is Lecturer in Law at the University of Aberdeen. In 2021, Isla was appointed to the Board of Examiners for the Law Society of Scotland. She is also a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Law Society of Scotland.
